Hardly any money. If the guy is who he says he is, it might be interesting. Highly doubt you could transition from zero background in finance to being employed as a quant after this alone though.

Apparently he teaches in the Masters in Financial Engineering programs at Columbia and CUNY Baruch.

but why does such a guy need to advertise like in such a lowlife way? It all seems so bizarrely lowbrow.

The way I read it it's some sort of odd experiment, really, maybe to see what he can accomplish. Maybe just post to his thread and ask "why are you doing this when you could be teaching at a uni?"

that's a good idea.

Also...are you familiar with these Financial engineering/math masters programs? Just wondered if you knew anything about the Columbia programS or the CUNY Baruch program? Or any opinions?
