Just wondering what the gentlemen on this site do to cure their hangovers after a heavy night of drinking. Here's mine:

Alternate a glass of water between drinks (I rarely keep on track with this one)
Get home and drink a bottle of Gatorade and as much water as possible.
Eat some starchy, fatty foods (had McDonald's last night on the walk home and it was amazing)
Take a multivitamin
Wake up and repeat intake of Gatorade, water, and multivitamin (if stomach allows)
Eat some fruits and veggies, apples and cucumbers work great
While in shower massage head and neck for 5 minutes
Go for a 15 minute walk
Take a Tylenol if, and only if, I have to work sometime that day.
While hating life, and everything that surrounds it, contemplate why I did that shot of Tequila the night before

I'd like to here some of the things you do to cure the inevitable.

If my schedule allows for it, sleep it off. Obviously, drink water/eat some pizza before bed, but I still woke up feeling like shit on Saturday.

Didn't have anywhere to be/do, so I slept until 1:45...felt great afterward.

Getting a base of protein before serious drinks is key. Starch really is no help, you need some fats and protein. I also love alka seltzer in the morning if it's that bad.

Weed helps a lot if you are so inclined.

This. Whenever I stay up boozin hard I always have a hard time sleeping past 8. Don't know why, but for some reason my body wants me to get up and be all, "Fuck you hangover! I am the Ubermensch!" This is cool for about 3 hours, then I want to die. I used to smoke weed to put myself back to sleep (hell, I used to smoke weed to really enjoy taking a shit). Now: not conducive to my lifestyle. Instead, I hit the uppers. Pop an addy when your 3 hours of AmericaFuckYeahI'mComingForYouOsama is about to wear off, and you'll maintain this eerie sort of low-level drone of a hangover for the remaining 10 hours of your day. It's not necessarily unpleasant, but it's not necessarily enjoyable either. It's like my Grandma always said, if wishes and buts were berries and nuts we'd never get fucking hangovers. You can't beat the hangover, only time can beat the hangover. What you can do is abuse pharmaceutical medications to fuck the hangover into submission. When you finally pass out and wake up the next morning, pure gold. Trust on this.

Usually prevent one by drinking water throughout the night, but if I get one it's simple:

1. Wake up and immediately drink 1 or 2 glasses of water.
2. Take like 5 Advil
3. Take a really long shower.
4. Eat something small (crackers), with a ton more water.
5. Go back to sleep.
6. Wake up and text all my friends apologizing for creeping/starting a fight/stealing/vandalizing something, etc...

Works if I'm not throwing up every time!

Well back in my university days, I would eat a huge baguette from the local bakery before going out. Pretty hard on the waist line though. Most of the time it seemed to work. Other then that, take some liquid gels and crawl into bed.

This. I drink Coconut juice, but Pedialyte will bring the hydration back even better. Then Ibuprofen, then sleep.

My first hangover this past summer lasted 4 days to a week for some reason. Needless to say, it was super unpleasant.
