Mine is getting in some kind of crazy accident and having my entire face disfigured. Like in Vanilla Sky. I just don't think I would be able to face the world. I might off myself, but I guess I wouldn't know unless I experienced it.

What about y'alls, y'alls?

Oh come on, you guys would rather be SUPER-DISFIGURED than on a high space or in a small closet?

Gradual blindness that you couldn't do anything about. I would possibly take disfigurement over that.

Yep. Would rather be disfigured (though I haven't seen Vanilla Sky), than say get buried alive.

Okay, so your greatest fear isn't being in an enclosed space, but rather being in an enclosed space with no oxygen and guaranteed death. Yeah, that one kind of sucks.

At the moment, sharp things pointed toward my eyes, my chemistry teacher had a sharp icepickish object, and even though I was like 7 feet away, it was pointed straight at my eye and I could not look at it, all I could imagine was that stabbing me in the eye.

I already got over my fear of heights, I can stand on cliff edges if I wanted to now.

Agreed. I have nightmares about that.

Followed by my dying before I can adequately provide for my family in the future.

Followed by cockroaches...I hate those things!

How'd you get over it?

Being on a plane that crashes. It's not the dying, it's the several minute descent.

Dying alone, in a nursing home, with a huge pressure ulcer, lying in my own excrement. And not being discovered dead for several hours (not that I'll mind at that point, it's just the ultimate indignity).

See, I would just fear surviving and being disfigured, lol. Like that Lynyrd Skynyrd dude. In all seriousness, I'd be interested to see how I would react if in a falling aircraft. It would be kind of cool to have one whole minute to come to terms with your own life, and impending death.
