What's your favorite leather belt?

I need a new casual leather belt. I was looking at a Tanner Goods natural leather belt.

I was also looking at a Jeans Shop belt also but ruled that out because it's waaay to expensive for me.

I am heavily, havily, HEAVILY considering ordering from Unlucky. Everyone seems incredibly happy with his work.

So what's your favorite belt and why? I wanted to hear your thoughts and comments about your favorite belts before I take the plunge.

I just wish the Filson belts had a nickel buckle option instead of brass. If they did, I would already have one.

Me and you both man. You can remove the buckle and replace it, but I'm not sure you can do anything about the rivets.

$148 might be too expensive for you to buy one belt but you could use that money to buy 3 belts: one from unlucky, one tanner, and one from leathergoodsconnection. And they wont be all the same (horsehide, leather, and bridle) so it's easily justifiable.

Atlier LaDurance's black saddle belt. I should have never have sold mine, I regret it every day I go out looking for a new belt and find nothing but crap.

^ Agreed. I had two - one brown and one black, but I sold the black one about a month after I bought the two. It's been 5 months now and everytime I go to put on a pair of non-blue denim pants, I wish I never sold my black one.. The brown one of mine has aged so well.

I have a black ALD belt as well, and can't imagine wearing anything else with my jeans right now.

This might be my favorite ever criterion for a belt.

I've had a belt from leather goods connection for about 3.5 years. I'd say it was the nicest belt I've owned, but I didn't own anything other than flimsy belts before that so it isn't much of a contest. I'm very fond of it, though. I wear it every day.

I'm thinking about a getting Corter belt (and wallet) one of these days, just for some variety.

I have about 2 dozen different belts. If you are willing to shell out the cash, the Nice Collective Roller Buckle belt (which I just got for my birthday) is nicer than the one by Tanner (leather and hardware). Otherwise, Filson (Crane's has great prices) or Tanner are the best places to go for good value for the money bridle leather and "natural" leather", respectively. I have an ALD belt as well. Just find it a bit too wide, so it gets little use.
