By way of a background - I'm actually not a big fan of alcohol, and rather detest the taste of beer and wine (fine, take away my man card).Drinking for me has so far more or less been restricted to social occasions where its polite to have a glass of something or other in hand. Lately though, through attending a couple of parties (prime culprit being bachelor things - way too many friends getting married but that's another story) I've discovered that I rather enjoy certain types of liquor.
Fast forward a bit, so I've been thinking of starting a small bar. Nothing to fancy schmancy mind you, but what would you guys recommend as a bare minimum? So far I've decided I like Bailey's, Bombay Sapphire and Jim Beam. So I figure I should get a proper scotch whiskey, vodka maybe? What else?
