1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Even more unsettling is the fact that one is wearing a cross while the other a pentagram... Despite their divergent spiritual ideologies, they are united by their douchey haircuts. The universe is kept in order.

thats not the worst. THe worst, is hairdresses in HK start copying thier style and giving it to their clients.

HK, like korea and japan has a HUGE hairdressing industry, resulting in competitive pricing i.e. cheap haircuts.

The bloke in the blue jacket is Johnny Halliday, nÃ[IMG] Jean-Philippe Smet, think the French equivalent (with less talent, but he still has a live career in the francophone world, I shall not go there...) of Elvis. He is alive (J. H., not E.P., that is probably debatable, as well...). This is one of the spots where French culture (capital F, capital C...) finds its limits...He is also a buddy of our dear prez Sarkozy. Need I say more?

HK has nothing to do with him. Do not blame them.

    With apologies to all,

Johnny Halliday is actually 67 years old ...Not bad for a guy who took as many drugs and alcohol as Keith Richards..
I'm surprised he is still around even if he still has a very faithful following...

He is starting his "farewell" tour....unless he decides to have another one at a later date.

Johnny starred in a movie by Johnny Toh (may spell the name wrong) called Vengeance. Is this the link with HK? the HK movie director originally chose Alain Delon but was turned down because of the poor script.

I think it was pretty obvious it was the guy on the left that had the weird/ bad hair-do. weird hair is quite common for hong kong celebs, being chinese myself i hate visiting hairdressers when i go over to visit family, they always try to sell you a funny perm or a dye job. having gotten used to my barber in england who just give me the no-nonsense short side and back, i cant stand these salon places that seem to be on every corner of hongkong. and where do they get their inspirations from? well, guys like the one on the left on the picture. tintin cut with ginger highlights, balding guys with elaborate comb-overs disguised as a fashionable just out of bed hair cut or the dreaded chiwawa perm weridos.

HK people tend to be quite flamboyant...I used to work with a few of them and they used to see themselves as the Europeans of the Asian continent...
The haircuts must as bad as most movies made by HK directors...
