What's wrong with black?

I'm a secret ninja on Sundays, so me and my ninja friends get really, really mad when muggles wear black.

Black is often used to remove one element from the design to have viewers focus on other things, namely the cut and texture. So if those two things suck ass then you've just landed an awful outfit. Keeping in mind a bunch of SF-ers have to ask what to wear to interviews I'd say risk-taking is not the order of the day here...

I say it depends
Black present a contrast for lighter color folks, but for east asians it coordinates better
that is why you see in Japan black is a popular choice for young men in office work
