What's with all of the Skull and Crossbone Avatars?

What did I miss?

From what I recall, Flambeur changed his avatar to a skull & crossbones. FNB then change his to a similar one. Flambeur created a thread calling out FNB. I read the thread and decided that I thought stealing avatars was a very good idea too so I stole Flambeurs. I have since moved on to stealing other avatars and have not followed why it is so rampant now. May have something to do with whatever the Manton/FNB relationship is.

Read Manton's sig. The Avarice Bespoke thread about sport coats has something to do with it. It was a cat fight between Manton and FNB. They almost kissed.

I didnt catch this thread. I didnt get a pm and i dont come to General Chat a lot. My avatar is different than his and was chosen for my own reasons. I didnt even realize he had a skull and bones avatar. I thought you guys were talking about all the posters using my exact avatar.

I guess that would explain your confusion. I'm pretty sure it all started out as a joke. I was a little surprised at how seriously you took my post in Trans Mod.

No, no it's fine; actually i owe you a debt of gratitude. Without your attention to the trivial I never would've found about this misunderstanding. I wonder if I should make amends to Flameur by changing my avatar to something less impinging on his trade mark.
