What's up with bespoke and custom high-end shops not returning emails

I find it increasingly annoying to deal with bespoke makers/ small custom specialized menswear shops. I have had trouble getting answers from small shops here and in Europe to even big conglomerate owned very expensive shops (berluti). All of them have in common that they sell pretty expensive items but seem to have a very relaxed almost unprofessional attitude towards returning calls/ emails. No out of office messages or anything. While I understand that a small bespoke maker in Naples is not going to return every email in 24 hours when I just have a question but I am talking specifically about shops where I am already a customer and have ordered and paid for products.

Am I just being to 'high maintenance"? I just feel it's a systemic thing that I am not used to from other "luxury" segments such as watches.

I find that's true of small shops but not big firms.

May I ask about the nature of the question?
Well its mainly about either organizing fittings or a few fit questions here and there but especially in the last two months I had to consistently follow up with basic questions and its not like I am writing emails all the time to annoy them but a few concerns about fit and let's say collar style or so after ordering items should be normal especially for travelling tailors...
