What's the word on Duffel Coats?

I picked up this A. Spiewak coat at a local Chicago retailer earlier this year. I don't know if they're still making it though, but i guess here's another variation of coat+toggles to help you in your search.

Aside from the rare olive green wool, I also dig the functionality of the coat; the ribbing around the waist and hands keep the bitter wind out rather effectively while the hood keeps my dome warm. The hood is perfect for light inclement weather.

If you can still find an Engineered Garments duffel from AW07 I recomend it, just bought one from ebay, it's amazing!

nah man, just from what i've seen on the web. looks like a lot of money for an average duffle. uniqlo's are just as appealing to me for a fraction of the cost. i just copped a fw08 engineered garments duffle though, no experience with the uniqlo product in person.

I was drawn to this coat too, but once trying it, the drool ran dry. Unless you're interested in the classic frock-like fit, then stick with one of the more tailored alternatives.

i love my APC f/w 09 duffel coat. if you can find them anywhere they're awesome.

what barbour is calling their duffle coat doesn't have toggles, but it looks pretty solid.

i like the idea of a two way zipper and buttons.
