1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This thread is really the Jack of all Trades. It has state pride, bigotry, guidos, a discourse on CT hot dog quality, political scandal, with lots of snobbery mixed in. More segues than a Grateful Dead concert.

Can we just agree that I'm a little college guy who runs his mouth too much and you have anger and pride issues about your state?

    Yes, I suppose we can.

    Yes, I suppose we can.

    And now reconciliation!

I wasn't kidding about considering moving to NJ, though - maybe in two years time you can punch me out in person...

Nike has designed a shoe called the high hairs. its a nike dunk SB shoe dedicated to the fact that in the 80s and 90s, New Jersey led all states in its use of Aqua Net hair spray, (by more than 30%)

the color scheme is the aqua net can, and it was only released in a few stores in New Jersey, (bon Jovi actually was at the opening ceremony at a skate shop, and it was on his birthday) that kinda stuff is straight JERZ

Personally i think these people are a disgrace to the Italian culture. Although i guess anyone with enough common sense knows they are not authentic Italian and just a bunch of fake wanna-be mafia whatever's (if there even worth that distinction).

This is probably the funniest thing i've seen in a while.

By the way Vaclave, for hotdogs in CT. Fredshanty is the spot.

Not sure how this turned into people dissing each others' states, but I would like to go to Jersey some day (other than the airport I've been to a few times). I think CA is really pretty and has everything you could want, from desert to snow, but all of this "economic growth" is annoying. McShopping Malls everywhere with ugly track homes. The Fabulous 40s and Victorian neighborhoods around Sacramento are quite nice, however. I also like the small, old town downtowns that every town around here has. SF is probably the nicest city in CA, maybe followed by SD, even though the people are a bit strange. I was in Silicon Valley last weekend and some of the places I remember booming in the 90s are now nothing but abandoned office space. As far as Jersey girls go, I have decided that I am going to go guido the next time I'm out at the clubs. I need to see if this works on the west coast, I'm going to get a blowout haircut and everything. I need help researching guidos in action. I have found a few videos on youtube, perhaps you guys can help me out a bit more in researching this mythical creature called the guido. http://guidofistpump.com/
