I paid $280 for an Oxxford 100% cashmere sport coat at Sak's Off 5th. Retail was somewhere around $3,700.

It wasn't my size, but the ridiculously low price allowed me to flip it here, take a small profit, and still provide a damn good deal for the eventual owner.

I've had a bit of good luck at Off 5th. It almost makes up for the sh*t they usually have.

40R Attolini for Barbera suit $180

40R Chester Barrie for Hield Bros suit $220

38R Saintandrews suit for $250

I'm thinking real hard to remember the best deal I ever got on something, but I realized I almost always walk away from sales disappointed because nothing ever fits me. I guess I've saved in general by just not buying as much stuff.

You could potentially save $2000 by buying one of the pairs of Kiton shoes I have for sale!

I think it has to be around 90% on some of the RLPL stuff that woodbury was blowing out. I did buy a Brioni Cashmere jacket from Ed for $2-300 which I can only suspect was a good deal, truthfully it makes every other cashmere coat I have seem rough.

the best retail deal I got was this past Xmas time at Liberty in London, bought a Spencer Hart (mainline, not diffusion "Hart" that Liberty also sells) 3/4 coat for 300 GBP, down from 1850 GBP. One left, my size, fits like a glove.

otherwise the usual 50-60% off that everyone gets at saletime.

this is off the supposed retail price, right?

suit = $2,200, RLBL during the holiday RL sale

pants = $600, Kiton. would you believe at Off 5th last week? it was just hanging on a 'just reduced' rack

shirt = $500, Kiton. Saks 12/26 60% off clearance sale

cufflinks = around $300, Robert Talbott, TJ Maxx extravaganza

sports jacket = $3600, Brioni, NM had it purple tagged off a sale price that was already like 75% off

coat = n/a

socks = n/a

shoes = $750, John Lobb, eBay

watch = $0. my stupid ass paid retail

bag = $0. also retail for a Tumi backpack and a Coach briefcase
