I'll shoot.

200 for a suit. This included putting a hem on the pant, waist suppression, and the most costly handsewn button holes on the sleeves. I probably could of had it done cheaper at another place, but my loyalty is to this particular tailor.

My amazing local tailor charges about:

68 for bringing in a jacket (I remeber from doing this one last week)

15 for hemming pants with cuffs (I think)

30-somthing to reduce a waist

Thats about all I have ever had done.

when I get my suits altered it's usually around $200. Sleeves, Pants Waist, Pants cuffs, bring in the waist of jacket, and adjustments in the back to make it lie flat.

That seems like a lot for reducing the waist for a pair of pants. How much was it reduced?

It was only about an inch... come to think of it, he may have brought the seat in as well.

$80 for converting a pair of pleated linen pants into flat-front, and slimming it down considerably as well.

I tried to find a 'proper' tailor to make the alterations I wanted. He quoted something like £128 for the cuff buttonholes. I walked.
