1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

The San Francisco Meetups. I've meet a lot of great guys, both local and from out of town. I've enjoyed getting together with them for other activities, drinks and meals aside from Meetups as well.

I think Transmod and the Glory days MC thread are the two reasons I refresh on a 20 minute interval.

I'm bumping this thread in the hopes of more posts. Along with learning more about clothing and tailoring, I'm here to learn about SF's members. Do chime in.

I come here for a couple of reasons. One, I genuinely like helping people out in this department. So many guys these days have no idea of the basics of menswear, and if they come away knowing some of the basics and the reasons behind them, that's one more man in the world dressing a little better on a daily basis. Giving them the reasons makes them realize that it's not just old fuddy duddies insisting on a certain way of dressing shrouded in the mysteries of time.

Two, I like the theory. Clothes have cultural as well as artistic significance, and in exploring and understanding that, you learn what aspects you really value, both culturally and aesthetically. That ties into the last point, which is that I like getting new ideas to improve my own style.

Truthfully, Ive learned more about men's clothes on this site and AA than from all other sources combined. Since AA has seemed to taken a turn for the worse in the last few years, I find myself here instead more and more.

To see if anyone has answered the pressing question of what one should wear to a wedding.

SF gives me something to read during the day. That's like completely different to daily life here. A kind of escapism if you will.
