Porterhouse FTW!!

I had a kobe skirt once that was out of this world. Perfectly cooked, great accompaniments, great wine pairing, it was just a really great dish. After eating there, I applied for a job and am currently working there three nights a week

I'm the same. I never order steak when I go out to a nice restaurant. There are so many more interesting things to try that I can't do at home. Haven't tried Kobe yet though... I guess I'll have to at some point. I'm on a budget right now though.

+1. NY strip is a almost as good. Porterhouse obviously too. Filet Mignon is great but I never find it as satisfying as a good ribeye.

Ribeye for me too. Filet is overrated: not enough marbling compared to a good ribeye. An AAA aged, marbled ribeye is steak nirvana to me.

Ribeye is my go to steak at restaurants, if I order a steak (like others, I usually want something I can't prepare myself, and that is interesting). My favorite steak is by far the porterhouse, BUT, too often when I ordered it medium rare, it was completely raw next to the bone.

My mouth says ribeye, my waistline says filet.

The only good thing about filet is that you know if you take her out for a steak dinner and she orders the filet you are going to get to put it in her pooper.
