Hey notwithit,
I went 1.5 sizes down (normally a size 11.5D). Do these boots come with an insole? I don't think I received an insole with mine.
I was thinking about your solution of adding an insole into these shoes, but the problem is that I think they would be way too tight after doing so, since I already sized down 1.5 sizes. Any ideas? :)
Thanks, guys. Hopefully I can make this work and not have to call this a complete waste of money.

heel definitely fits loose on these, tried a no slip pad around the back and that was some help but I ended up just taking those off and dealing with the heel slip which doesn't really bother me that much. You can try the half insert as mentioned above, but if you wear real shoes for awhile without the giant air cushion supports, your feet will most likely get used to it and they will actually feel pretty good for reasonable distances.

And the toe is more bulbous, because the w+h are smashed down, you can try smashing the toebox down on your daytons or with wear the creasing should make the profile a little better.

I just meant the kind of cushioned insole you can buy and insert yourself. You can always try to find a low-profile insole if you're concerned about toe room.

Is W&H releasing these again? Is there anywhere to buy the W&H version?

Anyone have tips on soaking these? Tie in a ball and submerge? But for how long?

anyone still waiting for an exchange from Dayton? I sent a pair back for exchange around the end of July. I called them a few times and never received an e-mail or call back to confirm. Just curious to see if anyone who sent a pair back have received new ones yet.

^ Yes, still waiting on an exchange. I specifically told them not to rush it, though, since I'd rather have the boots done right than done quickly. I think I sent mine back sometime in August.

I sent mine back in June for a remake and was told "they're on the finishing rack" yesterday during my monthly call checking on the status.
