finally got my boots. charcoal are mine and brown oiled are for another fellow sf member that i was TRYING to help out haha. obviously we both got screwed.

the boots look fine, no apparent screwups like others have posted. i also did not get any branding which is great. they also nailed the topy on the heel as opposed to glue. so all in all it came out fine. not worth the wait but happy i got something

Those look fantastic RKD. That oiled brown leather looks so amazing. Makes me want a pair. My charcoals came in too, but I'm out of town. Even after waiting 7 months, I would still order another pair. It's not like I was going shoeless for that time, and the shoe shape is pretty much perfect for me.

Wow, good to see you got your boots. They look kind of narrower, are they just E width?

My turn to add to the ceaseless tragicomedy that is the Dayton service boots thread: I just got off the phone (I think with Stephen), and he apparently had no record of me in his system. He had one pair with a defective tongue that he was going to have repaired and sent back, but they definitely weren't mine. Anyway, he said he has a pair of uppers in my size, and he should be able to get them out in the next week or so. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it'd be pretty rad if I actually got my boots sometime this month.

Also, I'm a 12 on a Brannock, an 11.5 in Chucks, 44 in CPs and MMM side-zips, 45 in MMM GATs, and a 10.5 in Dayton service boots. Any of those help?

Bullshit... Also, size 12 and a 44 in CPs, how is that possible?

CPs are one size larger than standard EU sizing, ergo CP 44 = EU 45 = US 12. How is that strange? Size 44 CPs are a little narrow in the toebox, but I'd be constantly tripping over my own feet if I sized up to 45.

I waited almost 4 months for my boots and never got them. When I called to cancel my order, they told me that was a problem because they were already being made. LOL. Like a sucker I believed them. Two months later I called my credit card company and they said I could still do a chargeback so fortunately I got my money back.
