Question for shoe veterans. What's the normal retail price for Vass shoes these days? Just need a ball park. Are balmorals more expesive than bluchers? Does Vass come in different level of quality (e.g. John Lobb Classic vs. Prestige).

The price is "normal" if you live in US, I think. Cheaper if you went to Vass personally to buy though.
No, balmorals is same price as bluchers.
No, I don't think they have different level of quality (e.g. John Lobb Classic vs. Prestige)

In Budapest four years ago they were $400-$600 for the traditional
models. That was when the Euro was $1.22. I have no idea about the
U last.

I've heard that the factory is very a la carte. The price changes drastically depending on what exactly you want. I've never bought one though so caveat lector.

I do not know about the factory. I was in their retail shop in Budapest.
Beautiful shoes. They were unable to fit me. I have very wide feet.
