So, AC's thread re: starting a bar (and there have been a few over the years) got me to thinking.. what do people's bars actually include? A full list of Huntsman the alcoholic gentleman or Piobaire's would be pretty interesting. We'll say everything but wine only for the sake of brevity.

I'll list mine in a bit. Is there a Basenotes Wardrobe equivalent of alcohol inventory?

I'm a tad whiskey-centric. I'm afraid my bar is stocked less with planning and more with gifts and targets of opportunity.

Whiskey:
Old Overholt Rye
Blanton's Bourbon
JW Black
JW Blue
Dewar's 12
Jameson 12 (I think? Twas a gift)
Powers

Rum:
Myers
Havana Club (forget which grade)
Some other rum--has rope around the bottle?

Vodka:
Stoli

Other:
Tia Maria, for some reason
Sauza Anejo (I think?)
Cheap brandy (for cooking, mostly)
Cheap triple sec

Interested in kronik's bar--any balvenie?

Right now I'm working through a case of Victory Prima Pils, and I have a Victory 12 and some Trader Joe's xmas bottles on the wine rack.

Oh criminey, I don't even know what I have anymore. I know that I'm at 40+ single malts from 6-28 years old, 15 or so blends, including all the currently available in the U.S. Johnnie Walker blends, eight or so gins, ten or so bourbons, half a dozen rums, three tequila/mezcal (really low there), about a dozen brandy/cognac/armagnacs, half a dozen grappas, all sorts of mixers/liqueurs, several amaros, and all sorts of wierd things that strike my fancy, like Cherry Marnier, GM Centenaire, Creme de Violette, and other oddities that are required for old-school cocktails. The last pic I took of the bar was about a year and a half ago -- there's another little shelf now, and items of lesser import are hiding below. Some pics hanging out on Imageshack....
