1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I love that, on that link, their "may we suggest" is a gift card. Instead of a coordinating tie or shirt, they are saying "you know, you might want to reconsider..."

They seem to put out one of these every season.

    Commonly known as "go-to-hell pants."

What's even more amazing is they have to have sold some. Which state is most likely to be the top seller? My vote goes to New Hampshire, dont ask why.

The trousers' colors are suave, in a perverse sort of way. I think they might look amusing on a young man, hosting a party at home.

    They should have suggested a hat . . .

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha! I love that! Those pants are so hideous, something like this might actually make them more serious and respectable!

    I just had a truly frightening thought . . .

Is the market for these pants the guy who's thinking, "Wow! These will go with ALL of my shirts."?

Can adult GrrAnimals be much further behind?

If they were suede instead of corduroy I might have given them a second look.

Okay, they're horrible, true, but does anyone else find an odd comfort in the fact that places like Brooks and J. Press still offer these little oddities. It's like a big "F You" to the "Bouncer in a Bulgarian Disco" look. [IMG]

Last year, I bought a pair of RL khakis that had little pheasants embroided all over them (actually nicely done embroidery too). My wife rolled her eyes when I first wore them, but eventually they grew on her. Although I question whether these Brooks patch-jobbies could ever grow on anyone.

TCN, yes. I do. That's in part why I used the word perverse, to assess these pants.

Thomas, I don't blame you. They're odd trousers, but they're kind of fun.[IMG]

I also take comfort in the fact the BB is offering pants that no one in their right mind would actually wear.

I like fun things, I'm kind of weird that way (So Mrs. Thomas tells me), especially around this time of year, when the temperatures drop into the low 90's and I start singing Christmas tunes in the stores.
