What would you wear with these?

I have ordered this in gray:

Also just picked up a more conventional odd waistcoat made from thick charcoal wool. Can post pics if needed, but basically like Filson's Western vest minus the lapels.

What can I wear with these? What are they too casual for?

I think you can wear casually dressed, with black or a different shade of gray trousers for a more monochromatic look or even dress it down with dark denim and some cool chelsea boots
