What would you wear this A.P.C. vest with?

Hi. I'm new here, hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.

I just bought this A.P.C. vest in a size medium: http://www.endclothing.co.uk/a-p-c-p...ipe-gilet.html

I really like it but I've never worn a vest before, so I'm a little confused as to what I'd wear it with.

Under a flannel or something?

Yeah, that's definitely a very classy look, but I don't think the puff vest would work as well with no shirt on.

Also, my muscles are too huge and might scare everyone away.

Any other suggestions?

Muscles aren't too huge? Who cares. Look, society is giving you a chance to be a man here. Suck it up and wear it without a shirt on. Be a man.

That's cool. I like it a lot. Dress shirts underneath would work well. I'd lean toward light blues.

Thanks for the link. Usually I'm pretty casual, jeans and t-shirts with either sneakers or Red Wings. Crewneck sweatshirts when it's chilly. Lately I've been wearing a lot of button ups in similar weight to flannels (but not actually flannels). I guess I wear a lot of "street wear", if that helps, but I'm getting into the somewhat higher end stuff rather than the things you'd find on, say, .......... I'm on the slimmer side (5'10", 165 pounds) but not super skinny. Mostly I wear things that are fairly fitted but nothing tight. (I never wear skinny jeans, for example. Just 501s.) At work I usually wear button up shirts or sweaters with jeans or khakis. So even at work I'm not very formal. I guess I was thinking it can be worn over things flannels and things like that or even button up shirts. Is that correct? What about t-shirts, as in the model in this picture? http://www.tresbienshop.net/brand/ap...-striped-gilet (I get a lot of mixed answers about wearing a vest over t-shirts.)
