What would you wear if you live in Hawaii?

Suppose you live in Hawaii, what would you wear wear to work or just casually? To make it clear, I live in Hawaii and I would like to dress stylishly, however, almost NOBODY here ever wears any classic menswear. People rarely wear long-sleeves and almost never wear a jacket or coat. Aloha shirt is considered as formal wear. Even CEOs of big firms go to work in short-sleeves. But I want to know what you would personally wear if you were to live here or another tropical place. Mahalo.

Would people in Hawaii look at you strangely if you wear a tailored long sleeve linen shirt? With linen trousers? If I lived somewhere tropical, I would wear nothing but linen.
