What would you pay for an OTR Coppley suit?

I realise that the value of a given item is ultimately subjective, but here goes....

There's a BNWT Coppley RTW suit (2 piece, 2 button, grey based glen check), supposedly fully-canvassed, hanging on the rack in front of you. You know it will need some tailoring. How much would you be willing to pay?

What I'd like to pay is $500-600, I expect it'll probably cost a bit more but if the fit is good and you like it, then go for it.

Cool. I pulled the trigger and bought myself an Xmas present. Coppley OTR, houndstooth pattern, 2-button, double-vented, Loro Piana super 120s. Under $500 with tailoring.

I am happy.
