$45 - $150 anyone who pays 150 for that is not intelligent. Honestly you could find this at a vintage store for $2.50!!!! Not impressed at all.

Wow. Gorgeous.

Only $100 max? I figured it would be worth more. But I suppose used garments (it is pre-worn, right?) devalue quickly.

I'd easily pay $100, if it was in my size.

had nothing to do with it being use. I judge it based on the brand, the cloth, and the style. Yes it is vintage, however the tailoring is pretty "generic" so the price range would be 45-100.

Yeah it not important how much something is really worth, rather it is how much someone is willing to pay. IF you want more for that jacket then ignore us and charge more.

Chanel sells costume china jewelry at an insane price that you can get the same exact plastic and cubic zirconias at a 99 cents store. Just the way the cookie crumbles.

How old would something have to be for you to consider it vintage?

Vintage is anything from ancient times 1800's 1900's etc to somewhere in the 1980's. 1990-s is like retro. Not vintage yet. Although in a decade it will be considered vintage.

OP is asking for the market value, though, which is synonymous with what someone would pay.

I assume used - you didn't mention. You would need to mention dimensions. What is left to let out? I assume tailored to someone's body (perhaps yours?). Considering the size, 46L, I would assume not many people can wear it or be interested. Not conventional business wear, so less demand. Not a big brand, so less demand. Lacking any more info, <$50.

This item has not been altered and unless I told you I wore it you would believe it is new. Also, Faconnable by Cantarelli is slept on. I have a few Polo jackets by Cantarelli and the workmanship is a bit higher than the Corneliani Polo suits I have.

Goes to show what some of the people who replied to this thread knows.

Case in point: for those of you who posted the lowball prices, what sort of suits and sport coats do you own? Noticed a lot of newbs here. Can anyone serious offer an opinion?

Thanks

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
