What would go well with thick grey blazer

so i have a charcoal blazer from theory. its like 60% wool, 40% cashmere but the weight of the material is really thick and heavy. Im kinda of a noob so I was wondering what weight/material/color of pants would pair well with the jacket. thanks for the help.

You can go for the same or slightly less weighty materials, like twill and cord pants. Colors can be almost anything different from the color of the jacket.

Brown cords or flannel trousers usually look dope. Black jeans work well but good black jeans are not that easy to find.

i dunno, i've tried lightweight wool trousers, didnt do the trick

In the OP's case, wearing lightweight trousers will throw off the balance; the look will be top heavy.
