During the summer, I generally don't wear suits or jackets unless I have to. It's just shirts and trousers for me until the fall.

Pretty much the same as the rest of the year though more linen, less flannel.

I wouldn't mind some spectators, and also some seersucker. teamed with white pants the majority of the time.

I picked up a navy pinstriped linen jacket. I will probably wear it with my white jeans or denim.

I also have a navy linen/cotton blend suit that should get a lot of wear with a white shirt.

I'm going to look for a pair of natural colored cotton jeans. Something basic at Levis.

I've noticed that a lot of runway pics show distressed denim and some fuller cut jeans. I have some special edition LVC from about 5 years ago with that look that I may bring out of the back of my closet. They are also the thinner denim that is nice for warm summer days.

Vintage chambray work shirts and old khaki's and Jack Purcel s are always good.

In general, I see myself wearing navy, white and tan.

Nope, no t-shirts for me. Most of my shirts are of a coton/linen blend so they're slightly see-through, but I wouldn't wear a t-shirt under an oxford either for that matter.

For business, summer-weight suits and blazers along with a few linen items and a return of tan/whiskey shoes. For casual wear, boat shoes, chinos, polo and ocbd shirts.

Business wise the usual stuff, obviously lighter fabrics than in winter. I have a tan Glen Urquhardt check I am really looking forward to wearing again.
But the most important part of my wardrobe come summer are really colorful seersucker shirts. Give me a 501, some deck shoes and a seersucker shirt and I am happy for the weekend.

Casual linen and cotton suits.

Casual linen and cotton sports jackets.

White jeans and trousers with virtually everything.

Slim above-the-knee shorts in subdued colours (khakis, white, blues).

Slim-fitting cotton and cotton-cashmere cardigans in a variety of colours.

Light-weight ties. A lot of cotton and silk knits.

Car shoes, loafers, espadrilles.

Those are basically the things that I'll be wearing in summer that I don't wear in winter. There are several obvious items that I wear in all seasons, which aren't worth mentioning.

New stuff this spring and summer will include three unlined fresco suits, one fresco jacket, one linen jacket from MBTâ„¢ (Mystery Bespoke Tailorâ„¢), a bunch of new Borrelli Linosa/Sorrentos in linen, cashmere blends, and cotton, and permutations of the Swiss Army Suitâ„¢. They'll join my accumulated crop of summer weight Barbera, Oxxford and Borrelli.
