I use Mozilla but I'm hating the google ads that follow me everywhere I go. Is there a lesser known browser that achieves all the modern convenience of Mozilla without the spy wares? Thanks.

The original Mozilla browser? That thing's quite dated. You should update to either Mozilla's Seamonkey or Firefox. Then you can install the adblock or adblock plus addons.

I also like to use links2, which is a text and graphics based browser. Typically I use it in text mode, with no javascript support.

Firefox w/ Adblock Plus. Use an IETab plugin at work for our internal websites.

You mean Firefox? I've used FF for years and have zero ads.

I just started really using Firefox a week or so ago because IE is so ******* awful I just couldn't take it anymore. HUGE memory leaks and constant crashes. FF has been perfect.

A couple of my friends use chrome. I have it installed on my virtual machine, but never use it (partially because my vm is never on and it's not yet available to Linux). It's got a couple of bugs to work out. Even if it is available to Linux, I doubt I'd switch to it due to lack of extensions.

Mostly Chrome, but I use FF to monitor one of my gmail accounts and that google homepage.
