ill have to look around, but i remember using aveda pomade in middle school because it just happened to be in my bathroom, but all it did was make my hair kind of shiny; it didn't provide any hold and wasn't at all wet-looking.

Drugstores carry a ton of different pomades. Go to the "ethnic" section and look for Murray's Pomade. It'll give you the shine and enough hold to last for weeks

Most pomades are impossible to wash out. Check out Yardleys English Lavender pomade. It has a love it or hate it scent, but I enjoy using it from time to time

Check out this site for reviews of different kinds of pomade and try a few different ones: http://therebelrouser.wordpress.com/pomade-reviews/

I use one called Lay Rite that's not on that list. Good hold and medium shine. I style my hair somewhat similar to the guy in the pictures.
