Kenton Suede Bucks, Color: Boulder (gray/taupe)
Would this work well?
I think that if it isn't the exact shade it may not look as good as it could. If I was to wear a shoe like that, I would wear a totally different belt. I would probably play the color off something else in my outfit. YMMV
Thanks for your input, tifosi.
I have a couple pair of suede shoes. One pair of chukks is pretty close to that color. I don't have any suede belts and I typically don't wear a leather belt with suede...I usually grab one of my web belts that I have in a variety of colors. I wear the suede shoes strictly casually, so it works. At least it does for me!
I'd wear a surcingle belt or something like that...
a too matchy-matchy suede belt with these kind of shoes might work with VERY casual suits, but I wouldn't wear them together with a pair of jeans
Don't wear a belt that is a light-colored neutral or near-neutral with light-colored shoes. It's too matchy-matchy. Don't match suede with suede (or nubuck), regardless of color.
Don't listen to this guy ^.
Navy or snuff suede with matching belt? Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Your grey desert boots being casual, the suggestion of coloured can as belts would also work fine.
Such politeness. Okay, if the belt is dark suede. (From a distance, the matching shouldn't be noticeable.) But there are better options.
