Not a true TV stream......

I happen to find this on YT last night. I watched the the first 3 of S1 and just started S2.

Fascinating stuff IMO. It basically details the last stages of the buildout of the ship and the deployment. The focus on the crew is also very cool.

Is anyone watching shows from Apple+, Apple TV, Apple TV+, or whatever it's called? I occasionally see commercials for their new shows and my reaction is always the same- looks like a good cast and a great budget, but totally uninteresting show(s).

The last few Netflix comedy specials I watched I turned off about 20 minutes in. Maybe they are being a little too generous giving these comedians hour long specials.

I watched a few minutes of the Jenny Slater episode and found it to be terminally, painfully unfunny. Having said that, the Hannah Gadsby 'Nanette' episode is excellent and genuinely moving towards the end.

The Man in the High Castle

Season 1 at times tiresome but some interesting spin on the multiverse.

Season 2 a lot more political intrigue and it kept getting better.

Season 3 just started.

Hooked now want to finish it before we go away.

Recently Mrs GF who was a production designer read TMITHC “how did they get all this from such a small book?”

Finished season 3 of The Deuce. I liked the show a lot, however it seems like I’m in the minority. People just aren’t into “straight drama” (“literary drama”?) it seems. No twists, no tricks, just telling a story. If that’s “slow,” then so be it.

You really need all 3 seasons to make it work, though, and it was always conceptualized that way. Can’t have a “rise and fall” story without the fall.

Season 3 is out? I don't have HBO anymore (cut the cord 2 years ago)
