Finished Deep State season 2 excellent story, political devious and execution in action. “There is no Deep State it’s just a bunch of rich white guy protecting their money.”

The ending sets up season three, or does it.

Season 5 of Peaky Binders hits this weekend on the BBC. I, however, live in America so I will be forced to hit my fav warez site and download it rather than wait until the entire season airs on Netflix

The Sinner, Mindhunter, & Marcella. Elementary on dvd.

I caught Marcella. While I like Anna Friel....it was just to much of her running off into dangerous situations with her hands in her coat pockets. I don't know how many seasons there were, I know I caught the first one.

Which reminds me:
who else found the last season of 'House of Cards' to be the worst shite ever? Even the shark was shocked, saying, "Why is shite jumping me like that???"....
Gawd.

I didn't even bother with it.

I tried watching Carnival Row the other day, couldn't make it 10 minutes through.

I found this series on Youtube last night. I didn't watch it from the beginning...just season 11. Not a bad British cop show. I will watch from the start when I get a chance.

Set in and around the corridors of power, Bodyguard tells the fictional story of David Budd, a heroic but volatile war veteran now working as a Specialist Protection Officer for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London's Metropolitan Police Service. When he is assigned to protect the ambitious and powerful Home Secretary Julia Montague, whose politics stand for everything he despises, Budd finds himself torn between his duty and beliefs. Responsible for her safety, is he actually her biggest threat?

Watched this over the wknd. It started out with some promise and then faded IMO. After appr 3/4 episodes, it really didn't keep my interest much.
2.5-3/5.
Completely agree.
I just finished this last night. More interesting than say "Shooter", etc. at the outset, and even in the middle, with some decent twists, but then it felt like somebody (aka everybody involved) hit the "we're all tired now, bye" button and it just fizzled out. Some really big logic gaps when one thinks back on it, too.

Lots of initial intelligence, tons of potential, and then mainly disappointment. And, no, I did not sniffle at the very predictable last scene...Really???

2.75/5.125.

Am starting tonight I think, after the disappointment of "The Bodyguard".
Will report back.

I will check the first 3 eps later....if I have time and also report back.

I watched the first 3 episodes last night: excellent so far. The script is good, the story plausible for the most part (a few "we have to speed this up here" bits but understandable); and the acting very good.

I have never seen S B C in anything before this, because little snippets of his earlier famous work did not interest me...so I am pleasantly surprised to see he is good here.

One weird cinematographic trick was used, and was so odd and unnecessary that it was very noticeable, but it was just a strange small short instance and nothing more. I hope the series doesn't do it more though.

Looking good so far.
