^^Started watching that one, too. I'm 4 episodes in and it's pretty solid. Plot is sufficiently twisty and the characters are more well rounded than I expected. I, too, will hold off on the final rating until I've finished all 10 episodes. But Netflix likes it- I read it's already been renewed for a second season.
I'm going to give this a shot, it's on my list.
I'm hoping they throw in some Night Agent songs in the soundtrack, like "Sister Christian".
That would be cool...

I should be finished with Night Agent later today. Will post my rating.

Finished the series today. I liked it a lot, and they definitely set it up for the another season.

Finished it just now. Not bad at all and perfectly set up for another season or 2/3.

3.5/5.

Lucky Hank, Odenkirk, AMC

I remembered to check this out last night and was surprised the episodes are an hour long--three have dropped to date. Odenkirk plays an English prof dept chair at a middling college apparently under the spell of his estranged but brilliant father, who was some sort of heavy literary critic or publisher, doesn't seem clear yet.

Odenkirk gets off some wry one-liners but I'm having a hard time deciding if it's supposed to be a light-hearted drama that's a little funny or a comedy that just really isn't. I'm not giving up yet, but I only made it to 15 minutes into episode 2 before going to bed at 9:15 with a book I'm really having a hard time finishing.

Seems like quite a letdown for Odenkirk after BB, BCS and even Nobody (which I didn't exactly dig, but was well done.)

Sorry folks! I calls em as I sees em! I do have hope for this show: I hope it gets a lot darker or a lot funnier, preferably both.

Night Agent was unwatchable. Wanted to quit 15 minutes in but gave it the whole first episode. No reason to go back. Plot was bad, acting was terrible, couldn't suspend disbelief. Not recommended.

I started watching the newer American remake (garbage) of this show and decided to switch to the original UK version (I missed it first time around).

It's brilliant, original and one of the best things I've watched in a long while (it's hyper-violent but with a dark comic streak and some rather famous actors in bit parts, and the most utterly terrifying hitman I've ever seen on screen).

Rabbit Hole Kiefer Sutherland

Stumbled across this on Amazon last night. It's on Paramount, IIRC.

Sutherland leads a team of corporate espionage freelancers who are hired to sabotage different deals for various reasons, namely money.

Looks like it's another show that comes out weekly so no binging until the end. Three episodes so far, I watched two last night. Pretty good, decent cast. Both episodes ended with plot twists that came from out of nowhere--I was completely surprised by both of them.

I'll admit, I was tired when I started the first episode and almost gave up before it caught me. By the end of the second episode I almost stayed up for three. Requires a bit more suspension of disbelief than I like to give but doesn't break the bank. It's not great but kinda fun.

It actually got worse then it ended. Transatlantic seemed to have the potential to be worse than Night Agent but I could only watch one Ep so 🤷‍♂️.
The Investigation is a Danish police procedural that is totally devoid of action but somehow mesmerizing. One of the most interesting bits of TV I've watched lately. True story.
The Mauritanian. Legal procedural around a Gitmo detainee accused of being part of the 9/11 conspiracy. True story, great cast , a movie we're halfway through. Pretty good so far.

Dracula on Netflix. Kind of Hammer horror-ish with an extra dose of pansexuality. I'm halfway through and very entertained. There are some very funny bits, some nods to the classic movies, and Dracula is clearly having a ball being the King of the Vampires.

Night Agent is by no means great, but I've found it entertaining...
Draco Malfoy's Asian Auntie is god awful though. Really bad actor.

After enduring episode 4 last night I've come to the conclusion that Lucky Hank is an hour-long sit-com that isn't only not funny, it's boring. I'd really like to know how Odenkirk became involved with this POS after the run he's been on.
