Finally, got around to Succession. Kept putting it off and thought I'd hate it, but, man, it's real real good. Enjoyed season one as much as any TV I've seen in awhile and i hear season two is even better.

I remember my wife and I almost dropping the show after the first episodes of Succession. I'm so glad we didn't because it is great.

Finished Stranger Things Season 3.

Season 2 wasn't quite willing to fully embrace the ridiculousness and the '80s nostalgia. Season 3 goes balls out and is the better for it. It had the graphic novel vibe, where you know it's OTT and unrealistic, but it's still a lot of fun.

It's not the same show as season 1, but it's just as good. Let your freak flag fly!

Ozark is rote and boring as ****. I watched season 1 when it came out, didn't care for it and so I never watched season 2. Now that I ain't got **** else to do, I just watched season 2 and 3 episodes into 3.

1 star, at most.

Don't F**k With Cats:
OK, but nothing so special.
A few incongruities, but mainly a lot of clichès piled on clichès piled on clichès imo; a paper tower.

Agree with above that the finale was very unconvincing, and really not up to/worthy of the story development.

3.0-3.5/5.0.
It is a good primer to watch before Tiger King. Cat people are weird, man.

Powering through Stranger Things.

Season 1 is fun. Horror usually isn't my cup of tea, but this is like horror-lite. It's a fun concept, well executed, and the story arc is tight. 3.5/5

Season 2 starts to get a little too campy. The subplots especially are a little ridiculous, especially the one set in Pittsburgh, and there's an excessive reliance on tropes and nick-of-time heroics. Seems like they didn't really know where to go with it other than "season 1, but bigger!" Kinda feels like Back to the Future Part 2. Still fun, expands the universe in interesting ways, but some of the magic of the original was lost. 2.5/5

Hopefully season 3 is better than Back to the Future Part 3. I'll update on S3 once I finish it.
Well this is a take.

Man, I thought something was wrong with me. I watched S1 and promptly gave it a thumb's down and ejected it from my list. Boring, not particularly well-acted, not particularly believable.

I just finished Unorthodox, which is fantastic. Highly recommend.

I watched the first two episodes of season 1 and had pretty much the same reaction. I imagined the elevator pitch was, “It’s Breaking Bad but with money laundering instead of meth! And hillbillies instead of Mexicans!”

Season 2 is as boring. Season 3, almost unbelievably, still ****.

The cinematography is good, and the location is gorgeous, so there's that.
