Thats the tame part of the series. Dude is a serious pedophile.

Season 2 of Suburra. It seems a little campy from what I remembered from season 1 but I know Gomorrah was always better. I should say I feel the opposite of the film version of both.

For the life of me I can't get into the Suburra TV series. Loved the film. Gomorrah is very good but unrelentingly brutal and grim.

I am slogging my way through Game of Thrones. Mid second season and Im still waiting to see what the hype is about. From what I’ve heard, the original author was great at detail while once the series went away from the book it finally got good. There’s just so much happening that I have no idea where the story is headed.

    Neither does the author.

I actually tend to feel the show went downhill since it diverged from the books. Season 1-2 were the best and the rest ho-hum.

I can't imagine anyone actually saying that---you must have it backwards. The show went to shit after the first couple seasons, and pretty much every deviation from the novels made it worse.

Ok, so I guess I should stop watching now. Nothing has happened. Season one was good but
    all the best characters died
Season two has just been excruciatingly slow with no plot development to note.

The first season is the only one I really liked, but I don't know if I'm representing any kind of consensus. I think most people would say the show really went to crap after the fourth (IIRC), when they finished going through the first three books (the good ones).

Not sure if it available "streamed", but if you can get the first 2 seasons of Gomorrah...I thought they were great. Season 3 is tied up in NetFlix purgatory but pretty sure it showed in UK...
