We started watching The Gentlemen on Netflix this weekend because a couple of online friends recommended it. It's very Guy Ritchie. It's only eight episodes so we'll grit our teeth and watch it to the end, probably.
Yeah it was definitely Guy Ritchie’s Greatest Hits, sometimes down to the shot level. I kept waiting for Brad Pitt to show up.

I enjoyed it anyway. We stuck it out and I’d watch another season.

Maybe I'm just burned out by binge-watching. There is apparently another season on the way!

I am getting a bit tired of every bit character being some sort of philosopher-king bloviating about random stuff in almost every conversation, but that's GR for ya.

I watched the first episode and developed a solid dislike for every single character, so I put it in the list of shows I'll only try again if I'm in the exact right mindset.

I wrote a long reply but I'm starting to sound like a whiner so I deleted it and I'll just leave it as is for now. :D

The Gentleman was entertaining.
Maybe I'm not burned out because I've only watched Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Snatches once.
It's a million times better than say, She Hulk.

@Jr Mouse will disagree with you.

Anyone watch White Lotus season 3 premiere? I'm going to say Craig gets killed at the end of S3.

I'm gonna throw this one out here; first two seasons are on Netflix, so catch up before S3 drops.

You mean Uncle Rico? I think they established he was cancer ridden in the previous season.

Mook is pretty cute.
Apparently in Thailand she's a famous rapper.

Loved her in the ill fated adaptation of one of my favorite books, “The Passage”.
The Passage is of my favorites as well!

I just finished audio book version and am on to The Twelve. Makes windshield time much more bearable. The narrator is one of the best voiceover dudes so it’s super well done.

We had high hopes for the series. The only thing I remember is that Babcock was a hot chick. I’m tempted to try to find it streaming if it’s free.

Yeah, Brianne is hot Babcock.
Wasn't initially on board with the change, but if you're going to do it, make sure it's visually appealing.

I had forgotten about the Passage. I remember reading it (and its sequel The Twelve) when it came out. I didn't realize there was a TV adaptation.

I'm 9 eps in Three-Body (2023). I do not mind the subtitle. But should I continue watching this through? I think I saw it was like 20 eps total.

The Man in the High Castle started strong. Will Three-Body end strong?
