but because he has the personality of a wet blanket. He has no charisma, isn't funny or relatable, and is frequently drunk, so what the hell?
I know, right? F*cking documentary level accuracy. You know what I really like about "The Recruit"?
The realism...
I'm binging season 2.I know, right? F*cking documentary level accuracy.
Seriously, though- I liked the first season, because while it was an unrealistic chain of events, the bureaucratic backstabbing and CYA, and the lead character's steady decline into panic attacks and PTSD seemed believable. The second season dumped that fig leaf of realism and leaned all the way into the absurdity, and I enjoyed the hell out of it for that. Every episode made me think, at least once, "That is such bullsh!t, and it's hilarious." Plus, all the women are hot, which is never bad.
but it's damn entertaining.
I'm hoping for a third season,
If you respect my opinion, you definitely have more important things in your life to reevaluate than this show.I respect both of your opinions. I'll have to give it another shot. Lost interest after a couple of episodes of S1.
Man, that series was pure smut for a young teenage me. Amazing the world before the internet.Yeah, me too.
They changed quite a bit, but it worked in that show.
Visually, Mayfair Witches is great.
I even like Alexandria cast as Rowan, but they don't have her playing it as the cold ice queen she is in the books. And Michael is arguably the 3rd most important person in the books, and he doesn't exist?
Overall they missed the creepy factor and it comes off a little more camp.
The guy cast as Lasher was a big miss.
I picture someone like Wes Bentley in that role.
Knees too pointy. So, I’m binging this show.
Truth be told mainly because I love Brianne Howey in all ways.
Loved her in the tv series season 1 of the Exorcist.
Loved her in the ill fated adaptation of one of my favorite books, “The Passage”.
Pretty solid show, except for the annoying older daughter.
But I just fast forward through her scenes.

Eh. The only reason we're still watching is my wife hates to leave a series unfinished. We sat through the two final seasons of Vikings (20 episodes each!) even though we had lost interest in the remaining characters because of this.I didn't finish it...lost access to the borrowed Netflix we started on and never felt compelled to search it out via other means.
Maybe someday?
