Coincidentally, I just started What We Do In The Shadows a couple of nights ago. I'm only on about episode 5, season 1, but it lives up to the hype.

Hell yeah, very excited for Season 3

WWDITS is top tier, funny, even on re-watch.

Been watching nine Perfect Strangers......

Interesting, and some good performances. But I am not quite sold yet. I think it will depend on how it all turns out if will end up giving it a thumbs up or not.

If you guys like What we do in the shadows, there is an older movie version set in Wellington, New Zealand starring the original writers/director which is equally funny and very low budget.

Everything actor Matt Berry appears in is hilarious, the British version of the "IT Crowd" is a good place to start

The other guy who plays Nandor is in a great movie called "Four Lions" about a British Islamic terrorist cell (a comedy)

We've just finished watching two other Taiki Watiti movies, Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople. They're comedies with a bit more meat to them than WWDITS. Excellent characterization and dialogue, light on plot but that doesn't matter in the end.

Just finished Chernobyl, which blew me away. It predates COVID but felt like a commentary on the Trump administration's response to the pandemic.
Oof, I didn't think about what watching it now would be like.

Toast of London.

And his role as Geoff Linton (yes, THE Geoff Linton!) in Bob Mortimer's Train Guy.

(And the movie of what we do in the shadows is awesome.)
