Don't like Master of None after three episodes, generic hipster NYC millennials talking and doing boring stuff.

Hmm I watched all 10 eps already, and I guess I enjoy millennials talking about millennial things because I really liked the show. I thought it addressed a lot of topics that are fleetingly brought up elsewhere but never highlighted in the way this show does.

otoh, haven't been a big fan of You're the Worst this season compared to last. Not sure where they're taking things.

Need to catch up on Fargo.

I kinda stopped after the third episode where aziz ansari and his cynical but wise black lesbian friend were talking at a bar with yo la tengo playing in the background. There's been some funny moments because Ansari is charismatic. But it's mostly been a bunch of generic/imitative tropes with race sprinkled on top and desperate to exhibit some common wisdom in the style of Louie. Married people are sometimes secretly miserable, kids are fun to be around but annoying to take care of, immigrant parents worked hard and made sacrifices for their kids but are emotionally distant etc. This show also has a hint of How to Make it in America where it was just like look at us we're hipster millennials living in New York having dope cultural and social experiences cuz New York except way more hipster and somewhat more boring cuz it wants to be genuine. I'll keep watching and maybe something will stick. The asian parents episode was okay I guess but also utterly uninteresting to me being an asian child.

oh and aziz ansari was wearing CP lows in the first two episodes. First time seeing them on TV.

Watched the whole season of this. I really liked it. Ron Perlman was great.

Just rewatched the Mash finale for the first time in 32 years. It still brings tears to my eyes.

Almost finished Master of None s01. Pretty good, imo. Didn't like the character of the lesbian at first at all but she's gotten better. Also didn't really like the giant at first but he got better too.

New season of Catastrophe is good/great so far too.

Watched two episodes last night. It's an amusing show but I don't actually find it that funny. I guess I need to watch more before it grows on me.

^No. It's just not that funny. Amateur-level writing as well.

Anyone know a site where I can stream recent The Walking Dead eps? My ISP sent me a letter saying they caught me dling it.

Crap I just started watching Hand of God at like 930 tonight. Really good show. It's taken a lot of willpower to stop at 12am after 3 episodes. I wish I'd use my weekends to binge watch a new series...
