So I finally broke down and streamed breaking bad. I'm in season 5 episode 10 and am almost at my breaking point of just shutting it off. Maybe it's covid-19 and this **** year, or just so much hype, but I personally wouldn't even rank it in my top 10 television series.

Reminds me of when I took my kid to the Sequoias and told her pre-trip about General Grant for days.
We're standing in front of it, she gives me some side eye and said "that's....it?!"

I don't know exactly, but here are a few off the top of my head.

The Expanse
The Leftovers
The Wire
Legion
Arrested Development
Rescue Me

I should put together a list at some point.
Kudos on Legion, and your list is strong.
But Breaking Bad is incredible.

Did you get to the episode in the crack house, with the crack parents and the red headed kid?

I couldn't follow what in Jupiter's cock was going on in Legion half the time. I just knew Aubrey Plaza did a great job playing herself.

Yes, unfortunately. I fast forwarded through some of that and the entire fly episode. The Jesse character was nonsensical garbage.

You probably should, since only one show on that list is very good.

Agree on Breaking Bad. Good show, very much of it's time and too heavily reliant on cliff-hangers. It touches greatness at times but was never consistent enough to make it into the pantheon of truly great television.

Legion that good? Haven’t seen.

Also, started ‘the Runaways’ on Hulu.

You think Entourage is high art, so.

Breaking Bad wasn't that great, and definitely too long.

Btw, here are the best TV series:

Band of Brothers
Rome
Deadwood
Firefly
Archer
Heroes (only first two seasons)
I, Claudius
The Prisoner
Robin of Sherwood
Star Trek (The Original Series)

The Night Stalker with Karl Kolchak was the best tv series ever made.
Runner up?
Original Magnum P.I.

I only watched the first season, but I liked that one. The semi-related Cloak and Dagger was also pretty good. Though I only watched the first season of it, too. That's not a strong endorsement, now that I think about it.
Rome
Firefly
Archer
****, yeah.

Rome was alright, Firefly was fantastic, and I would put that in front of Breaking Bad. To clarify, I don't think Breaking Bad was bad, it was decent.
