I need some ideas. I just got this jacket off of ebay, it is my third Harris Tweed but the first in this color. The listing said it is a Beige/Tan color but the photo looks more light grayish to me. Either way it is certainly a light color. Any suggestions on what color trousers I could pair with this?

Olive moleskin, dark blue denim, the above mentioned olive cords . . . there are plenty of choices. Hell, those red chinos that are so popular in New England would work, too. Such a versatile coat that it would be hard to go too far wrong.

I would stay dark, and since it does appear a bit gray to me, I'd go dark olive or navy before charcoal.

Right. Just about anything but charcoal, frankly.
