I won this Corneliani sports jacket a while back, but am having trouble pairing it with shirt/tie/trousers. Â Any suggestions? Â Color in bottom photo is pretty accurate. Â I tried some Canali straw yellow pants from Bluefly, but they looked stupid on me. Â I suppose I could try navy on the bottom, but am inclined to avoid a dark shirt b/c I don't think of that as a spring look... [IMG] [IMG]

    I would do

    cream linen trousers

    navy linen or tropical wool

heck maybe even the right pair of jeans would go...

Here is what I would do.
Top, I would put crisp spread collar white shirt or v-neck shirt.
Pants, not so bright pinkysh-greyshy pants .. those light green tone pants might go well.. Brown shoes ..

Light gray tropical wool flat fronts. Heck, even a pair of flat front, slim fitted chinos would look nice.

How about a light coffee/Tan colored pant to pick up the buttons color, and matching cream/ecru shirt to go with the pants when the jacket is off and to pick up the stripe in the Jacket as well, bringing the whole set together.

I would personally stay away from jeans here.
