what to wear with my new boots

I finally bought a pair of boots I like, a tan pair of grenson sharps. And I realize I only have one pair of trousers suitable for this boot. What do you wear with your brogue boots? What colors pant goes well with tan? http://www.grenson.co.uk/media/catal.../0/5032-02.jpg

Ebay actually worn once and 80 cheaper, none of the gilt grensons caught my eye....

I've got a similar pair of dark brown (coffee?) Tricker's Stow boots that I brazenly wear with nicer trousers + odd jackets than what I think most SF'ers would approve of. I don't think I'd wear them with a proper suit but with the odd jacket combo works well. I think it adds the right bit of snark to my look, at least on the days I'm feeling snarky (most).
