Hi everyone,

I have an electric blue suit and an electric blue gilet, but i don't know how to match them with the tie, the shoes, the belt and the shirt.
Can you suggest me some combination of colours?

For example, if I wear a white shirt, what colour should they be the tie, the belt and the shoes?
I was thinking about wearing a white shirt with an electric blue tie, a black belt and glossy black shoes, what do you think? Can it work?
Or I was wondering if I could wear a bordeaux tie with a white shirt, but I don't know how to match that colour with the belt and the shoes.

So if you could give me some examples of combination of colours between the tie, the belt, the shoes and the shirt it would be great..

Thanks in advice.

The simple answer is whatever you like: There are no such things as 'rules' or forbidden combinations. What is more important is to match your clothes to the function or purpose in wearing the damn suit in the first place.

It actually sounds a vile thing which might better have been left in the shop where it was exhibited. Still, that makes life easier for you as it should surely only be worn on casual occasions and certainly never get within a hundred yards of the Board Room table!

That being so, brown shoes/belt, blue/pink/cream etc. etc. shirts- certainly not white. These days ties are getting frowned upon on casual occasions so that choice need not burden you.

What has the gilet to do with the suit?

Sorry, I meant a waistcoat. In italian it's called gilet..

And if I want to wear a bordeaux tie, a white shirt and blue shoes, what color does the belt has to be? (obviously with the same electric blue suit)

No one will notice if it is pink!

"...what color does the belt has to be?...." The belt can be any colour you like, let me repeat, there are NO rules which suggests it must be this colour or that but not the other.

@styleFT light tan belt and shoes. no need for a tie if there is no need for one. Crisp white shirt. Any pocket square but white silk one would work too.

Perhaps the safest tie for an electric blue suit is matte mid-gray. It's hard to think a tie would be necessary, though.
