What to wear with a dark brown velvet pant

i wear a lot of jeans but i just purchase this pant:

it is looking a little bit darker in reality

What color can i wear with this pant? (with dark brown boot/belt ?)
I've been thinking about green or grey sweater

(shirt, sweater, any advice is welcome)

If you're lacking fashion sixth sense ,you can buy some fashion magazines and find there some inspiration....
You can also lok around you in the tube,at the office and you will find some combinations you will find interesting....
The important thing is to create your own look and not simply copy somebody's else vision...
My Mum ,costum designer, use to tell me regardinf colours....Try and try again from the obvious to the unbearable and you will find your way...
You can play the colours game of fusion /contrast ....
The dark brown is offering you a lot to play with tone wise from chocolate ,bronze ,olive cream to white...
I love dark brown suede shoes with it...
It will also depend on your tone complexion ,do not forget to take that into account.......

Yes, i started to read some fashion magazines; i try to wear new things that's why i'm not used to some colours...it will take some time
