What to wear w/ a light blue/white searsucker sport coat?

What shirt/trousers/shoes to pair?

I get compliments when I pair my searsucker jacket with nice jeans and a white shirt (button-down, polo, long sleeve t-shirt, etc.). Some times I do the opposite -- white linen trousers and blue shirt. White bucks, blue canvas or boat shoes work well.

The obvious options would be:

Tan linen trousers or chinos; or white jeans.
Tan loafers or wingtips, calf or suede; bucks an option for the Americans.
White or sky blue buttondown with some texture
optional tie: linen or slubby silk tie either in similar colours, or a more saturated contrasting colour


Having said all that, I'm also interested in other ideas, because I have a jacket like this that I would appreciate a few more combos for.

White pants. Linen or light cotton. Nantucket reds also work...and I have worn dark blue linen pants with mine as well (don't tell the SF Police

).

I like a crisp white shirt and a dark solid blue tie, especially a silk knit. I also like bowties with Seersucker, but nothing too busy.

For shoes, you can't go wrong with white bucks, black and white or black and brown spectators or saddle shoes (and black and cordovan for that matter), cordovan or black penny loafers, tassle loafers or black or cordovan longwings or wingtips.
