What To Wear Under Black Denim Jacket?

It's pretty neutral. Almost anything, although I think you'd be better serviced at the Streetwear and Denim section of this forum.

Any color will do when you wear it with a black denim jacket. You can actually play with colors and designs with this solid color. However, try not to wear anything that is too bright underneath your jacket.

I disagree.

1. Most black denim I've seen is better described as charcoal.
2. It's pretty casual, so I think it gets a pass from the rules of formal dress.

I say express some colors under your Black Denim Jacket. Adding neutral colors are only going to bore the overall look. Make sure the Denim jacket is the darkest piece to your outfit, add a pocket square and some accessories and you'll be ready to go. Although I would recommend to get a blue Denim Jacket....
