i signed up for mba practice test a while back.. never touched my study books or practice test ever since.

got invited by 2 top 7 schools for 'info session'.. figured i check it out since one's literally a block from work.. what's appropriate attire? i'll be coming from work so would dress shirts/pants suffice?

I would just wear the toolbox you came in.

Their just interested in your tuition money, assuming you even got the creds to get in the first place. Worry about your GMAT score, not what you should be wearing.

Wear a "Will work for food" sign; seems to be pretty trendy among MBA graduates these days.

Agree with OP wearing what he wore to work, but it's possible there'll be soft evaluations. The company (a pharma MNC) I work for does evaluations of people during our info sessions pretty frequently.. and has ruled out possible candidates on fit based on their conduct as well.

These MBA info sessions are serious cattle calls, packed to the brim with hundreds of people. There's basically no way in hell the OP is going to be evaluated or remembered. Unless he does something incredibly stupid, of course, and manages to stand out that way.

yep.

probably the smartest thing you can do is meet some alumni who you get along with, and keep in contact with them. they will not affect your application other than by giving advice

So no hardon for badly dressed candidates?
