Internet! I need your help.

I live in Toronto and every year our big museum, the ROM, has a massive fete.

The theme changes year to year, but this year, it is "Ocean Drive" which everyone is taking to mean "South Beach" or "Palm Beach/Worth Avenue"

I need help figuring out how to dress. The party is in around three weeks. If it was warm enough, of course I would just wear a vilebrequin trunks and oil my chest, cause what lady doesn't love that?

But more seriously, any suggestions are helpful.

I am leaning towards a black with white pinstrip RLBL linen suit I picked up here from RLlikes, with a pair of loafers. I could go more dramatic.

HELP!!!!

If my outfit facilitates the receipt of any phonenumbers, I will happily pass them on to those who helped as a thank you.

Considering that SoBe and Palm Beach are nothing alike in terms of scene you might want to clarify.

I understand...

We can go with, from a revised invite, "Glitzy. Glamourous. South Beach Chic. Aqua. Coral. White."

I'll stop by the chippendale supply store on my way home.

Sequins are a must!

I think they want you to dress like you're from Miami Vice.

Driving shoes, some pastel colored linen pants, a bright dress shirt and a white sport coat.

Linen is always good, but black w/ pinstripes is not the most SoBe color scheme. Or Palm Beach.

Watch a few episodes of CSI Miami--Delco and Wolfe are pretty representative of what someone from So Fla might actually wear.
