I don't know why you couldn't wear that with most anything. Looks nice and clean. Plus with navy you can add some nice colors to make the pin stripe pop.

There isn't much that won't go with a navy blazer, you shouldn't have trouble finding things to match up to it.

There isn't much you can wear that with without it looking like an orphaned suit jacket.

Don't get me wrong, there are outfits that would work, but they are few and far between.

If you're looking for versatility, this isn't it.

charcoal is going to be tougher to match. I would say go with light jeans and maybe brown shoes....that way it looks like you pieced it together from the get go.

I don't think an orphaned suit coat is such a bad thing if you can do it with style.

I think some of the fear with orphaned suit coats is that they're typically done using jackets with cheap fabric and even poorer fit. I've seen some very nice looks done with pinstripes on an odd coat. Brunello Cucinelli does some very nice sportcoats with pinstripes.

I've got a charcoal pinstripe suit and I think the jacket looks good with jeans, but I havn't found anything else it looks good with (other than the matching trousers of course).

I have a pinstriped odd jacket, I always wear it very casually with jeans and a shirt or t-shirt and I frequently get complemented on it. I wouldn't try it with anything smarter, even chinos.

That said I find that wearing a jacket with jeans you want it to be a bit more casual than a suit jacket, so a more casual fabric like flannel or similar works better than a smooth suit style finish like the one in the picture.

Despite some fashion forward people's beliefs and practices, the average man only wears pinstripe suits.

And to think I bought a pin stripe jacket today.

Of course looking around the shop they had at least four different pinstripe jackets and a chalk stripe over coat.

Of course this isn't a shop that caters to pensioners
